While the majority of items are pre-owned, there are some that are brand new.
New items without the tag attached will be considered pre-owned.

Each item offered is genuine and authentic.

Every effort is made to ensure accuracy in describing every detail in full.
Only items that are in good to mint condition are offered.
All items are cleaned and/or refreshed using various processes.

We operate in a non-pet and non-smoking environment and each item is cleaned accordingly or laundered at least once unless the tags/labels are attached. Prior to receipt by us, environment is unknown.

Every one that makes a purchase should be satisfied.
If there are ANY concerns, please feel free to contact us at any time prior to purchase or within 24 hours of receipt of purchase per delivery confirmation.

VINTAGE: Clothing sizes ran differently mostly smaller in the earlier years. Please note measurements in each listing.

All sizes and measurements are listed and are taken with the items laid flat unless stated otherwise.

All measurements will be in inches and/or centimeters. Each listing will state which measurement was used.

All HANDBAGS/PURSES and most LEATHER GOODS will arrive wrapped in a soft cotton or cotton-like fabric with our own security tags attached**.

Sales and any information will be announced in jaysvintage's "Promote Your Store" section of the eCRATER Community forums.

Prior coupons and discounts will not apply to items which are on sale.

Any misuse of coupon codes or discounts will result in cancellation of any and all applicable orders.

Refund amount will be issued MINUS any applicable coupon/sale discounts PLUS the 20% re-stocking fee for each item/order.

Simply contact us by clicking the link in the item's listing that says "Ask Seller a Question" or at jaysvintage@yahoo.com with:

1. Your name
2. Item description
3. Your offer amount/terms, and
4. A phone number where you can be reached during the day (required)

Why do/would we need a phone number? Since the form of payment is USPS money order, communication provides for a more comforting transaction.

There are no counter-offers.

After buyer's offer is accepted, buyer will receive an email or phone call with the necessary information.

Items must be paid for by USPS money orders only.

We must receive USPS money order within 7 days from the date of acceptance for offer to remain valid.

Item(s) will be moved to the "SALE PENDING" category until USPS money order has been received or 7 days, whichever comes first.

If USPS money order is not received by 3 p.m. EST on the 7th calendar day, the item will become available again immediately for the original asking price.

Offers Only: Payments in any other form other than USPS money order will be returned uncashed, unclaimed or denied.

We apologize for any inconvenience that this may cause.

We accept Paypal, Google checkout and USPS money orders.

No e-checks.

Money orders must be received within 7 days.

Payments must be transmitted no later than 24 hours after receiving confirmation email.

At this time, sales are TO and payments are accepted FROM buyers within the U. S. (USD).

Some exceptions are considered for International Buyers. Please contact us regarding items that you may be interested in purchasing.

Delivery Confirmation is required with EVERY item/package shipped.

MONDAY ~ All orders received and paid for AFTER 10 a.m. EST the previous Thursday and BEFORE Monday at 2 p.m. EST.

THURSDAY ~ All orders received and paid for AFTER 2 p.m. EST Monday and BEFORE Thursday at 10 a.m. EST.

NOTE: Shipping schedule may vary during special sales promotions. An email will be sent to the buyer if there are variances regarding the shipping schedule.

Detachable handles or straps may need to be removed on some purses/bags before shipping can take place.

RECEIPTS, etc:

Please contact us or leave a note in the "Notes" section when payment is made (Paypal, Google) if a receipt, tracking, signature or delivery confirmation number is needed or for any other reason.

"Peanuts" may be used. If this poses a problem, please contact us.

Packing materials and shipping boxes may be new, re-cycled or re-used.

Gift wrapping materials will be new.

Non-glass items may ship in appropriately-sized padded envelopes or poly or tyvek mailers unless otherwise stated.

Combined shipping is available on most items. Please contact us for a quote.

All items are First Class or Priority Shipped via United States Postal Service.

Insurance required on all items/packages $50.00 OR MORE.

Insurance may be required on fragile items.

Signature confirmation is required with most deliveries.

Delivery confirmation is required with all deliveries.

Costs includes the price of all materials, all types of delivery confirmation, priority expedition, a $2.00 handling fee (when applicable) and any incurrence that will ensure that your item is delivered promptly and in the condition described.

Shipping fees are not refundable.


~~~~~~~~~~~~~~RETURNS~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

Any chargebacks/disputes to credit cards without communicating with us first will be treated as Fraudulent. All details, including original order form, Terms and Conditions, IP addresses, names, addresses and/or e-mail addresses will be forwarded to the issuing Credit Card Company (Fraud Division), FBI (Credit Card Fraud Division) and all Credit Reference Agencies which will probably result in a query into members credit card payment habits. Credit Card Fraud is a serious crime and will not be tolerated.

NO REFUNDS ON COLLECTIBLE GLASS BOTTLES FILLED WITH LIQUIDS AFTER 3 DAYS OF RECEIPT.

Some new items may still offer a factory warranty. Please read ad listings completely.

Contact us within 24 hours of receipt per delivery confirmation for return information.

Item(s) must be postmarked for returned within 3 days of receipt. No exceptions.

Item(s) will be inspected and verified prior to any refund being issued.

NOTE: It takes at least 2 weeks after 3 delivery attempts have been made by the buyer's local post office for us to receive a returned package. For this reason, refunds may take up to 60 days.

Also, check with your funding source regarding further policies and procedures that may delay or extend the refund time.

Refund amount will be issued:
1. MINUS any applicable coupon/sale discounts
2. MINUS the 20% re-stocking fee for each item/order, and
3. MINUS original shipping cost (in most cases)

Item(s) that have been cleaned/polished, altered or adjusted in any way by the buyer or buyer's representative are NOT RETURNABLE nor REFUNDABLE.

If an item does not fit or you have changed your mind, consider giving it as a gift to someone prior to considering a return.

**If item is sold “NWT” (new with tags) or with our security tag attached, TAGS MUST STILL BE ATTACHED not taken off and/or re-attached. Any tag that has been removed/cut/altered in any way voids any return/refund.

Items shipped for return must be originally ours and in original condition with NO alterations or cleaning techniques applied and in original packaging.

Gift wrapping service is non-refundable.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~INSURANCE~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

If insurance if offered/required/requested/placed on any item the Buyer must assist with required process prior to receiving ANY refund should damages or loss occurs.


~~~~~~~~~~~~RE-STOCKING FEE~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

Once buyer's card is charged, account is debited, transaction is completely paid for or money order payment has been received, there will be a 20% re-stocking fee on each returned item with the exception of wigs and hairpieces. There will be a 50% re-stocking fee for wigs and hairpieces.

The percentage is of the total cost of the item/package/sale.

Shipping costs are not refundable including item(s) returned to jaysvintage.

These conditions apply to all returns including those due to:

a. Buyer not arranging for pick up or re-delivery from their local post office

b. Buyer remorse

c. "free shipping" item

d. buyer changed mind

e. item(s) does/do not fit

f. Buyer not providing correct mailing address
